Hooray! Construction Underway! The trees are coming! We are happy to report that it’s about to get a lot greener on the gravel lot. The trees are coming! After approval of the required permits, Phase 1 construction is moving forward. While there has been little activity on site since the Rotary/AARP volunteer community clean-up day in October 2019, there has been an enormous amount of work done behind the scenes to get ready.
Phase 1, including trees and grass, is expected to be completed by the end of May. We will be holding another community project day around the first of May to plant the park’s ground cover.
