As we sunset this transition year, we put the pandemic in our rear view mirror and look forward to transform and imagine a world where we help make a difference. Congratulations to PDG Sandy Matsui and the 2021-2022 District Leadership Team that Served with Aloha to Change Lives. And to each of you, thank youfor your dedication to Rotary and serving the needs of our communities.
Jennifer Jones is leading us as the first female Rotary International President. We look ahead to greater accomplishments in our pursuit to exemplify our core values and imagine living up to our motto, Service Above Self. As Jennifer says, let’s take care of each other and continue to ask the community how we can help.
Membership is the focus for this coming year, as it has been over the years, but let’s take it up a notch by focusing on engaging members and expanding our reach. With more hands, we can imagine more impactful projects and continue our mark to be rainmakers.
Rotary in Hawaii has been here since 1915 and we plan to be here another 100+ more years to care for our island communities. Together, we can make a difference! Together, we can do more for our members and our communities. Together, we can imagine a world without Polio, a world with Rotary fellowship, and our renewed commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
