Journey to Peace (JPI) SEMINAR #3: Saturday, January 11th | 1:00 pm - 3:00pm

This seminar will explore the theme "Escalation to Darkness," 1945, with a focus on the tragic events that unfolded in Asia, particularly in China and the Philippines, during World War II. Through an interactive panel of esteemed experts in diplomacy, military service, and history, this event will study the cost of war in detail in the Philippines that gave rise to the brutality that emerged during the last moths of WWII, and how today we can maintain a meaningful living memory to avoid future atrocities.

The panel will be moderated by Ms. Karen Knudsen and hosted by Miss International Hawaii, Melody Higa. Special guest is Mr. Steve Sombrero, son of Ernie Sombrero, a Philippine American WWII Hero.

Join us for this important discussion with leaders who are shaping the future and contributing to the vision of peace and cooperation in the INDOPACIFIC. Reserve your spot today and be part of this movement towarda more peaceful world.
