ShelterBox Response Teams are in Turkey working alongside Rotarian partners to distribute emergency shelter and critical household items to thousands of families devastated by the earthquakes that claimed more than 50,000 lives. In Northern Syria, we are working with our partner to support over a thousand households in Aleppo with ShelterBox tents, stoves, blankets, mattresses, solar lights, and children's winter coats. ShelterBox USA deployed with a ShelterBox Response Team to Kyiv, Ukraine, to conduct humanitarian distributions to help families displaced by the violent war survive the freezing and unforgiving winter. Working alongside our local community-based partners, ShelterBox delivered wood stoves, high thermal blankets, thermal sleeping bags, solar lights, winter clothing, and water carriers – all essential to communities struggling through rolling power outages with little or no electricity, heat, or running water. Since the onset of the war one year ago, ShelterBox has provided emergency aid to more than 50,000 people affected by the war in Ukraine. Because of your support, the current winter distributions will reach an additional 30,000 people.
