Rotary in Hawai'i are calling on all girls and women for two exciting events during the month of April and May. The Girls' Empowerment Initiative is holding one event on the island of Oahu and the other event on Maui.
The Oahu event is on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Ruby Tuesdays Moanalua, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. The cost is $40.00 per person for lunch. More importantly, attendees will hear from local, inspirational speakers to learn skills on how to have your voice, as a girl or woman heard. Special guest speaker is the recipient of the Rotary International Award of Excellence in Service to Humanity, Kumu Malina Kaulukukui. Seating is limited and registration is required. The Maui event is on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at UH Maui, Noi'i Building, 2nd floor, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. The cost is $25.00 for adult females, and complimentary for high girls, for afternoon tea to meet and interact with ten leading ladies on Maui.
