On Wednesday, August 28th, the sponsorship committee of the IC2020 HOC held a Sponsorship Pau Hana at the Waikiki Yacht Club. The invitation was accepted by over 60 attendees - including Rotarians who were designated as their club’s Point of Contact for the upcoming convention. HOC chairman and PDG Del Green with Diana Doan greeted the guests with fresh orchid lei and a Goodie Bag containing the IC2020 Honolulu pin, a sponsorship information packet, and product donated by Elvira Lo, Tom Matthews, and PDG Laura Steelquist. 
Potential sponsors learned that from June 6 – 10, 2020, over 25,000 Rotarians will attend the 111th Rotary International Convention and how Hawaii businesses will benefit greatly from the convention for years to come. Many agreed that their support
of the convention will definitely bring their businesses to the front line, and how their support can also be their way of saying to District 5000 Rotarians – we believe in you.
