WHAT IS RYLA?
RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is an intensive leadership training and development program.  It is designed for 10th and 11th grade students from any Hawai`i public or private high schools.  This year's Virtual RYLA will begin on Friday evening and will end Saturday evening.  It is sponsored by Rotary Clubs.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING RYLA?
As a RYLA participant, you will experience a broad range of activities to encourage you to think about leadership principles and how you can apply them in your life.  Adult Alaka'i Rotary Facilitators and student Youth Facilitators will take you through a variety of experiences.  They include virtual interactive games,  activities and guided discussions on leadership topics that you can relate to.  Students from all across Hawai'i will be participating. The program will empower and challenge you to be proactive in your school and community.

HOW MUCH DOES THIS ALL COST?
The total cost of your Virtual RYLA weekend is $100 ~ but this cost will be entirely covered by your local Rotary Clubs.  What that means is the RYLA weekend experience will be FREE to those accepted in to the program.
