Friends, my heart is absolutely bursting with joy today! On Saturday in downtown Honolulu, we witnessed something truly special - the charter meeting of our brand new Rotary Club of Aloha Hawaii International!
With 24 incredible members (including a few returning Rotarians and many wonderful folks new to our Rotary journey), this club is already bringing fresh energy and big dreams to our District 5000 ohana.
Charter President Chris Puttock is leading the charge, with Lyla Berg ready to continue the momentum in the coming year. They will be embracing hybrid meetings to connect members across the Hawaiian islands, the mainland, and even internationally!
These dedicated individuals are already rolling up their sleeves with plans for visible service projects right here in Hawaii, while also reaching across oceans with international projects supported by global grants from The Rotary Foundation.
To our newest Rotary family - welcome home! Your desire and commitment to be People of Action inspire us all, and I can't wait to see the difference you'll make both locally and globally.
