*The story of the U.S. Government’s imprisonment of more than 100,000 of its citizens of Japanese ancestry during World War II is well documented. A story that was not told, until this film, was the forcible eviction of Japanese Americans in Hawai’i from their homes after the Pearl Harbor attack. This film shares the stories of those who endured the injustice and the efforts for restitution.
