Rotary and our partners have immunized over 3 billion children worldwide since 1988. Wild polio remains endemic in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and variant polio outbreaks threaten the progress we have made against the disease. We must also keep all other countries polio-free until we're certain it won't resurface. With your help, we can end this paralyzing disease for good. In collaboration with national governments, thousands of polio vaccinators, health workers and community mobilizers reach more  than 370 million children every year in more  than 40 countries with over 1 billion doses  of polio vaccines.
Polio eradication would be one of history's greatest public health achievements, with polio following smallpox to become only the second human disease eliminated from the world. Find out more about the Polio Eradication Initiative at https://www.endpolio.org/
