Naomi Masuno
2020-21

Naomi Masuno is a member of the Rotary Club of West Honolulu and has been a Rotarian since 2002. She served as East Honolulu Club President 2006-2007, District Awards Chair 2008-2014, District Secretary 2014-2015, District Treasurer 2016-2018, as well as serving on numerous District Committees. She is committed to supporting the District and Club leadership to carry out the mission of Rotary.

She is currently Vice President, Channel Sales Manager in the Retail Lending Division at Bank of Hawaii. She has more than three decades of banking experience, including assignments as Business Banker and Branch Manager. She has a passion for championing the cause of helping small businesses to succeed and has participated as a guest speaker at numerous workshops sponsored by SBA, SCORE, US Department of Transportation, State Department of Transportation, State Department of Agriculture, the Wounded Warriors Program and the Hawaii Pacific Export Council. For the past 10 years, she has been on the steering committee to organize business fairs on Oahu, which offers a venue for small businesses owners to gain access to information and resources to start or grow their business.

As one of the top SBA lending officers from 2004 through 2011, she supports the SBA's programs and was named the SBA 2014 Financial Services Champion of the Year for the State of Hawaii and received the SBA Director's Choice Award in 2016.

Naomi's past community service leadership positions included: Vice Chair of the Patsy T. Mink Center of Business and Leadership at the YWCA, President of the Waikiki Health Center Board of Directors and US Secretary of Commerce appointee to the Hawaii Pacific Export Council. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii, with a major in Accounting.

She and her husband, Dean, and their two sons have participated in numerous Rotary projects.
