RC of Hanalei Bay is supporting Hurricane Lowell recovery right here on the North Shore, and there are two ways to help: Make a tax-deductible donation to our Hurricane Lowell Relief Fund, held through the Rotary District 5000 Foundation.   • Big Island.  Oct 24, RC of Kona Sunrise is partnering with Papa Kona Restaurant (75-5770 Ali'i Dr 1st Floor, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740) in honor of World Polio Day, October 24, 2026. This collaborative community event aims to raise critical awareness and funds to eradicate polio globally. We invite all Rotarians and their guests to join us throughout the day. Papa Kona Restaurant hosts Kona Sunrise with the BEST meeting venue in Hawaii!  
  • Oahu, Oct 24, 10am to Noon.  Journey to Peace Hawaii #10 at Aloha Tower Marketplace - Multi-Purpose Room 3. From Enemy to Ally - Japan’s recovery after WWII, the new international order, and the Hawaiʻi voices in the room. The seminar recognizes Raymond Aka of Wailuku, Maui, who bridged the languages of the 1946 drafting, and Col. Harry Fukuhara, Nisei soldiers of the U.S. Army’s Military Intelligence Service who served through the U.S. occupation of Japan.   • Oahu, Nov 20, 5pm at HOMA. Supporting President Mae's passion for the arts by attending the "Art and your Brain" interactive exhibit at HOMA from  5:00 pm to 9:00 p.m.  Admission is free.  We will have a dutch treat dinner together at the museum and then play in the exhibit.
