What is the Aloha Action Campaign?

Aloha Action is Rotary District 5000’s newest initiative to raise awareness of Hawaii Rotary, promote our People of Action service projects, and generate membership interest. This campaign invites community members to “try before you buy” by participating in our service projects through the Rotary Experience Pass program. Get involved, make a difference, and experience the impact of Rotary firsthand.

How the Aloha Action Campaign Works

Enroll: Sign up for the Rotary Passport at RotaryInHawaii.org/ALOHA
Participate: Attend Rotary service projects, meetings and community events.
Collect Stamps: Earn stamps for every event you attend.
Enter to Win: Once you collect 4 stamps, enter to win a subsidized first-year membership in Rotary.

About the Aloha Action Campaign:

  • What It Is: A multi-channel marketing campaign to encourage the public to "Try Rotary" by participating in club events and service projects.
  • Key Features:
    • The Hawaii Rotary Passport allows participants to attend Rotary events, collect stamps, and experience Rotary firsthand.
    • Clubs will stamp the passports at events, creating an engaging and welcoming experience for prospective members.
  • Our Goals:
    1. Raise Awareness: Showcase Rotary’s meaningful work in communities across Hawaii.
    2. Engage New Audiences: Drive traffic to our website, rotaryinhawaii.org/aloha, and capture leads through passport downloads.
    3. Increase Membership: Convert interest into action through nurturing campaigns and club engagement.

How Clubs Can Participate:

  1. Promote the Campaign: Share the website, video, and campaign details within your communities.
  2. Club Website & Calendar: Ensure your club's website and events calendars are up-to-date, so that volunteers can find your activities.
  3. Host Events: Encourage your club members to invite passport holders to service projects, meetings, and social events.
  4. Stamp Passports: Provide a warm and seamless experience by stamping passports at your events. Stamps can be a sticker, a stamp, or a club member's signature.
  5. Highlight Your Work: Share your club’s projects on social media and engage with district-wide promotions.
